I know I am late posting my August giveaway but July was really busy for me! First my vacation to New York City for ten days which was AWESOME, then home for ten days, then off to Pasadena for the Pasadena Bead & Design Show – WHEW! I will blog about the show hopefully this coming week. Thanks to all for asking how it went! I wanted to get the August giveaway posted first LOL.

This is my most popular selling Greek leather cord bracelet! It is on my Jewels By Jules site – scroll about half way down the page and click on the picture for another view of the bracelet.

HOW TO ENTER THIS MONTH’S DRAWING: Post a comment on my blog telling me what you think of my new bracelet that I just posted on ArtFire, Wire Wrapped Blue Planet Bracelet. I totally love this bracelet and it looks GREAT with a pair of jeans and tee! Definitely keeping one of these in my personal stash!

I will be writing a TUTORIAL for this bracelet later this month. I will also have KITS available for purchase.

So check out the leather cord bracelet on Jewels By Jules and give me your opinion about Wire Wrapped Blue Planet Bracelet!

Whose name will Joey draw on August 31……??

  1. How lovely! Please include me for this one.

  2. How fun is this! The focal bead is almost “dangerous” and the rest of the beads are so organic looking. Makes me just want to feel them with my own hands you know? And of course the wire work is just too beautifu….as usual! Congrats on a another great piece :)

    • LOL dangerous! Someone asked me at the Pasadena Bead & Design Show if it is uncomfortable or pokey but it is not at all. It rolls on the bracelet. And yes, the band agate beads are totally cool – as soon as I saw them, I started putting strands in my basket at the show and I bought all different sizes, too!

I love your planet bracelet. I’ve always been a huge fan of blue and silver together and I particularly love the wild shapes of your beads and the different looking textures in everything. Awesome!

Thank you for having such a nice giveaway!

  4. Kristi Broderick says:

The Blue Planet bracelet is so cool! I love the texture of the beads – they really do look like planets!! I love the wire wrapping around them as well. It definitely would look great with a pair of jeans (when I can fit in mine again ;) Tell Joey he better be picking my name on August 31! ;)

  5. Brittany says:

It is gorgeous and I am not just saying that because one of my favorite colors is blue. It is so unique and I think it would be stunning on anyone. :)

  6. Danielle says:

So, I was a little wary when I read Leather and Pearls together. It could have gone terribly wrong, but this bracelet is gorgeous! I want it! I love mixing textures you’ve done it so well with this bracelet. Beautiful work!

  7. Marge says:

Yes, I absolutely love that bracelet! I hate trying to c omment on things that I don’t like, b ut this one I absolutely love. I wonder if you could fit some of the smaller Blue Planet beads into the focal bead? That would be interesting!

Please put my name into the drawing!

  8. Tango K says:

What a gorgeous bracelet! Love the contrast of the white pearls and the dark leather. Please put my name in the drawing!

  9. HARDPRESSED says:

This is a very stunning bracelet and I imagine it would elicit many positive comments from admirers. I have always been a fan of beautiful bracelets because you can admire them so easily. (Not the case with earrings for example!) I would be happy to win this piece! I taught jewelry for awhile so I’m very, very impressed by your wire skills. Beautifully designed and crafted.

I also feel in love with your leather and pearls bracelet. Great unexpected combination of materials; “proper” pearls with edgy leather. Bravo!

  10. Celia Mercer says:

Love the bracelet. I am just learning the art of wire wrapping. UGH. Can’t imagine the time spent on this bracelet. The beads selected for this piece are beautiful. Can’t wait to see the tutorials for this one. Celia

  11. Barbara Self says:

These planet beads are really amazing! I love the texture and color. You do the type of wire work we would all aspire to create. I love looking through your shop. I havent seen these beads anywhere, will you be retailing them or know who is going to sell them. Where are they mined? I love neat gems. Do you think they would be like opals and sensitive to heat and cold because they are porus?

    • Hi Barbara, I had never seen these previously either so I don’t know much about them other than they are porous. I also made a ring and when I washed my hands, the stone turned very dark blue but once it dried it was its original color again. If you would like to buy some, I can get sizes and prices for you. I am going to be writing a tutorial for this bracelet and also have a kit available soon!

  12. OOHH I love that! How pretty! My kind of jewelry. Thanks for the giveaway!

  13. Really love the beads. Immediately I wanted to touch them to feel the roughness. The coiling looks perfect!

  40. Blue banded agate is good for the throat chakra, repelling and curing infections or soreness. Agate, in general, aids meditation, achievement of serenity, and self-confidence. An excellent choice.
