I am holding my first monthly giveaway! This month the winner will be given green amethyst earrings that I designed – antiqued and coiled sterling silver wire with green amethyst drops.
To enter the giveaway, first visit one of my two online jewelry stores, Jewels By Jules or Jewels By Jules Artfire. I will write your name on a piece of paper that will go into a bowl and my 9-year-old son, Joey, will draw a name on June 30, 2009. My absolute favorite is the wire wrapped Chrysocholla pendant…but for a follow up to that I’d have to say the Just a twist ring; its simple yet funky enough to stand out without being too overbearing.

I love the Single Bypass Metalsmithed Ring. I love to metalsmith , but don’t have much of a chance to do it myself these days!! I truly appreciate all the hard work that goes into metalsmithed pieces. I can never seem to let go of mine.

My favorite is the Kyanite and Thai Silver bracelet – Blue Tranquility (but it was a hard choice!). I love kyanite – just got a strand last weekend!

I like the Hilltribe bracelet style very much, but then I saw that Orbital bracelet, and it is just so striking, so I will have to vote for it. It takes my breath away. I really like the way the armature is formed. So cool.

I can’t pick a favorite. Different moods/different days = different favorite. Right now my top three are the Brass Patina Earrings, the Olivine Swarovski Crystal Dangle Earrings and the Black Cloud Amazonite Greek Cord Leather Bracelet.

I have never seen a “bejeweled” BeJuled Sea Foam Cuff, and honestly- the only hand made jewelry I ever loved before was from Benitez jewelers..until I saw your wire work and this piece. There is something special about woven stones and wire, with such beautiful blends of pears and stones. The magic of your work is that it just isn’t found anywhere- and now that I’ve found it, I’ll be buying quite a bit!

I think my favorite would be your single bypass metalsmithed ring. It’s such bold but classic piece that works with basically any outfit. The single taper on it is the perfect touch.

I like so many of your pieces it’s hard to pick a favorite. But since you insist, today I have to go with the Hilltribe Venetian – Woven Cuff Bracelet. I’ve been partial to anything Venetian since I lived in northern Italy for 2 years decades ago and Wire wrapping is my current passion in jewelry design too.
I completely love the Orbital Woven Wire Bracelet!! What an incredibly unique design. I use to love everything symmetrical and now I prefer things that are not! That’s a beautiful piece!
I used to be the same way but a store owner really encouraged me to design asymmetrical and I am so glad that she did. My asymmetrical pieces sell the best in her stores and really, asymmetrical can still have a balanced look
